Firefox Monitor helps you check if you’ve been a part of an online account data breach.
All you have to do is visit monitor.firefox.com and enter your email address in the search bar, then this will prompt if your email address appears in a known data breach.
To get updates, click the Sign Up for Alerts to receive information about the latest public data breaches worldwide. Also, if you have Firefox Account you will be able to receive a notification if you visit a site that has been breached for the past years up to the present.
How to received browser alerts on the desktop?
For registered user accounts, you will be able to receive pop-up alerts if you’ve visited websites that are in the list of breaches similar to the below.
Just simply select the “Check Firefox Monitor” button to see the information like “when is the breach added to the database”, what are the compromised data, and the status of the current breached.
Click “Dismiss” to stop the alerts.
