Our adventure began in Tashkent, a city that feels both modern and deeply traditional. Exploring the city as a family was comfortable and enjoyable, with wide streets, green parks, and fascinating architecture.
Food quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. We shared plates of plov, tasted soft and flavorful manti, and enjoyed freshly baked Uzbek bread (non). Sitting together at local restaurants, sipping tea, and trying new flavors made every meal feel special and meaningful.
Local Taxi Ride Experience
One of the most memorable family experiences was riding in local taxis. The rides were simple, affordable, and full of character. Drivers were friendly and curious, often smiling and trying to communicate despite language differences.

Bullet Train Ride from Tashkent to Samarkand
Traveling from Tashkent to Samarkand on the bullet train was exciting for everyone, especially as a family. The train was clean, comfortable, and fast, making the journey smooth and stress-free.

In Samarkand, visiting the Shah-I-Zinda Museum complex was a deeply moving experience. Walking through the beautifully tiled mausoleums felt calm and reflective.
