Roofcamp, a regular gathering of information exchange and to inspire innovation, is holding a forum at Dojo 8, 19th Lacson Street in Bacolod City, Friday, a press release from project manager Steven Drilon said.
Roofcamp Bacolod is open to developers, technopreneurs, startups, and interested individuals for free, it said.
The two-hour event will start with Frederick Villaluna, a college professor who works on mobile apps development for Firefox OS, who will discuss source code management. The second speaker Jeff Diaz Guillen, a teacher at Tay Tung High School, will discuss wearable technology and adaptable programming.
Run by a web engineering firm ProudCloud in Manila, Roofcamp is known among the tech community for their less structured approach in its talks, the press release said.
Roofcamp Bacolod is hosted by Clearbugs – a simplified bug tracking tool for small teams and solo developers built by Akubo Software, another local company founded by Negrense Robin Abello, the press release added.
To register, those interested can visit www.clearbugs.com/roofcamp. Visit www.roofcamp.net and www.clearbugs.com to learn more, the press release also said.*
