It was a fine day on the 21st of May when we arrived in Tbilisi for a week gateway with my family. The chauffeur arrived at the airport early to assist us with the best SIM card to buy and exchange rates for local currency.
On the first day, we jumped right away, to start our adventure around the city and find the best cafe to chill with. Anyway, my wife made a bucket list to follow for the entire trip as she has done that since then.

On the second day, we visited Kazbegi Mountains roughly around 3 to 4 hours away from the city. There you will be able to experience the amazing scenery along the way.
The first stop would be the Zhinvali Dam a huge man-made built a long time ago, to follow the Ananuri, Gudairi, Arch of Friendship monument by Georgians and Russians before and after Gergeti Trinity Church which is located on top of the mountain.

Then, we decided to visit this beautiful hotel with a fantastic view outdoors to grab some food for lunch. We tried the local cuisine and some fresh bread which Gavin liked the most!
Adventurous third day to follow for Nelyn, when we experience the chilling Diamond in the Sky in Dashbash Canyon. This was developed a couple of years back to spice up the one-of-a-kind experience in that place. A panoramic stops and trilling walkathon down the canyon which is perfect for those people who love hiking.

Now the fourth was for me and Nelyn’s ultimate goal, to experience the best wine in Georgia. We went to the Kakheti region to experience the best wines, how they are made, and other things if you want to experience more traditional winemaking in their master class sessions.
We visited what they called the City of Love, Sighnaghi for midway snacks, and walked along the Fortress Wall as our last point on that day.

Fifth was our leisure time and so Nelyn tried to experience the best Sulphur Bath ever as she said. Then after this, we walk along the city streets to see what’s going on, experience the best street foods, and find souvenirs to bring back home. Gavin was still in hyper-mode so we went to Galleria Mall, had some snacks then bought an ice cream cake for dessert in Lumeir’s Chimney Cake. Dinner time was awesome when we tried some unique beef dishes, soap, and of course local beers.
On the 26th, our last day in Tbilisi and Gavin’s day we woke up early, grabbed some food for breakfast, and fixed all the things for an early morning flight going back to Abu Dhabi.

Kindly check some of the things we had during our vacation.
