WordPress released a beta version for 5.6 to run on your test site. The beta is still under development, and the team is planning to release the final version next month.
To test WordPress 5.6, all you have to do is download the zip file or try the WordPress Beta Tester plugin and select the “bleeding edge nightlies option”.
They added some changes in themes, navigation support for widgets, site health verifications, and some other things.
And also, WordPress 5.6 has lots of refinements to the developer experience and to the end-user as well.
